Brawl Arena! Concept PvP
Alright here's the basic outline
No less then 4 and no more then 10 players per game.
No teams, everyone vs. everyone (AoE eles would be decent in this arena)
Large Arena
Faction increased to 20 pts per kill (since there are less chances to kill)
More area obstacles (water, marshes etc.)
Rez points randomized throughout the map insted of in 10 different places
Every Player For themselves!!!!!
Time limit set to 5 minutes. (Winner by points)
Basically it would require a couple new maps but I'd want to be sure that each map had about 4-8 different obstacles. Also you don't have to worry about leachers in this arena because 1 leach= 1 bonus point for you = no points at all for the leachers.
So list of benefits:
1. Leachers have problems working in this arena
2. 70 faction bonus for winning
3. More faction per kill
4. Heck let's admit it, it's just plain fun to be playing alone for once and not along with a team.
What'dya think?

You have a gimmicky, quick kill build that you use to kill-steal.
Game over

peeps use that in the alliance arena too, but it doesn't work there either. How will it work here (everyone will notice your little quick-kill build right away and go for you first).

No they won't. I've played an SP sin in RA and got three warriors on my team. The opposing warriors decide to charge at our warriors while leaving me alone to kill their monk. In a free for all situation, it's even more chaotic.
Any map that supports 1v1 or 1v1v1v1v1 is stupid.

There would be nothing but sins there, and riposte warriors to counter those sins.

Such a thing woud ONLY work if all players started with the same studied build. And no effects came from attributes and equipment. For example, the dwarved brawling skills.
And, of course, there should be a way to prevent 'teaming up' or 'running around'. Like allowing only to attack a single character at the same time, making everyone immune to all weapons but the ones given when entering the arena, adding a running stance charged with adrenaline so no one can run from battles and a timer so anyone lose if the battle do not end under a fixed time.

Well base faction on kills for a start, that prevents "running around" .And base faction gain on health lost so that if you nick the last 5 hp you get like one faction. Sure it premotes ceertain builds but name me a place that doesnt. So it would be fun if not very serious

I would love to see a PvP deathmatch one day, but this idea is a bit ridiculous.
Keep in note that every build has a weakness (like the 55 monk vulnerable to enchantment removal).

...! Mithran, you just gave me an idea. Imagine the same free-for-all concept, but the map is a large dwarven or norn tavern, and everyone has brass knuckles/brawling skills. As silly as it would be, I think it could be a blast. There could even be a new brawling skill that increases in power based on your drunkenness.
